The Palace of the Parliame

The Palace of the Parliament in situated in Bucharest, Romania. It is 12 stories building having 1100 rooms. Construction as the palace as started on 25 June 1984. It is a multi-purpose building containing both chambers of the Romanian Parliament. The Palace is the world's largest civilian administrative building, most expensive administrative building, and heaviest building according to the Guinness Book of World Records.

Sydney Opera House

The Sydney Opera House is situated on Bennelong Point in Sydney Harbour, close to the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Sydney, Australia. It is a multi-venue performing arts centre in the Australia. It was conceived and largely built by Danish architect Jørn Utzon, finally opening in 1973 after a long gestation starting with his competition-winning design in 1957. Utzon received the Pritzker Prize, architecture's highest honour, in 2003. The Pritzker Prize citation stated: “There is no doubt that the Sydney Opera House is his masterpiece. It is one of the great iconic buildings of the 20th century, an image of great beauty that has become known throughout the world – a symbol for not only a city, but a whole country and continent”. It hosts over 1,500 performances each year attended by some 1.2 million people. It is also one of the most popular visitor attractions in Australia, with more than seven million people visiting the site each year. The Sydney Opera House was made a UNESCO World Heritage Site on 28 June 2007. It is one of the 20th century's most distinctive buildings and one of the most famous performing arts centres in the world.

Dubai Mall

The Dubai Mall is the world's largest shopping mall based on total area and fifth largest by gross leasable area. Located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, it is part of the 20-billion-dollar Burj Khalifa complex, and includes 1,200 shops. Access to the mall is provided via Doha Street, rebuilt as a double-decker road in April 2009. Dubai Mall was opened on November 4, 2008, with about 600 retailers, marking the world's largest-ever mall opening in retail history. The Dubai Mall has recorded a visitor turn-out of more than 60,000 tickets sold for the Dubai Aquarium and Discovery Centre in the first five days, following its opening. The Dubai Mall hosted over 37 million visitors in 2009, and attracts more than 750,000 visitors every week.

Vehicle Assembly Building

The Vehicle Assembly Building, or VAB, at NASA's Kennedy Space Center (KSC) was used to assemble and house American manned launch vehicles from 1968-2011. It is the fourth largest building in the world by volume. The VAB is the largest single-story building in the world, was the tallest building in Florida until 1974, and is still the tallest building in the United States outside an urban area.

Golden Resources Shopping Mall

Golden Resources Shopping Mall, or Jin Yuan is a shopping mall located in Beijing, People's Republic of China. In English, the mall has nickname Great Mall of China. It takes about two days to explore with 230 escalators, more than 1,000 shops and restaurant space the size of two football fields, and a skating rink. Its total area is 7.3 million sq ft or 680,000 sq m over six floors.

Ericsson Globe, Sweden

The Ericsson Globe is the national indoor arena of Sweden, located in the Johanneshov district of Stockholm (Stockholm Globe City) it is formerly known as the Stockholm Globe Arena, also in Swedish nicknamed Globen, ’The Globe’. The Ericsson Globe is currently the largest hemispherical building in the world. It took two and a half years to build. Its shape is like a large golf ball. It has a diameter of 110 meters and an inner height of 85 meters. The volume of the building is 605,000 cubic meters. It has seating capacity for 16,000 spectators for shows and concerts, and 13,850 for ice hockey. It represents the Sun in the Sweden Solar System, the world's largest scale model of the Solar System.

Boeing Everett Factory

The Boeing Everett Factory is an airplane assembly building owned by Boeing. It is located on the northeast corner of Paine Field Airport, Everett, Washington. It is the largest building in the world by volume at 472,370,319 cu ft and covers 98.3 acres, where Boeing 747s, 767s, 777s, and the new 787 Dreamliner are built. The factory includes a BECU branch, 5 Tully's Coffee stands (1 of which is in the delivery center), and several cafés. Across the airport to the west are The Boeing Store, a theater, and Future of Flight Aviation Center & Boeing Tour, which runs factory tours.

Taj Mahal, Agra

The Taj Mahal is a mausoleum located in Agra, India. It was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his third beautiful wife, Mumtaz Mahal. (Arjumand Banu Begum before marriage). She was died while giving birth to her 14th child. History of the Taj Mahal India shows that construction began in 1631 with a work force of more than 20,000 men. Masons, stonecutters, inlayers, carvers, painters, calligraphers, dome-builders and other artisans were requisitioned from the whole of the empire and also from Central Asia and Iran, and it took approximately 22 years to build what we see today. It was finally finished in 1653 at a cost of 32 million Rupee or $400 million in today’s prices. The monument was built entirely out of white marble, which was brought in from all over India and central Asia. The Taj Mahal of Agra is one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
