Lysefjord Bridge, Norway



The Lysefjord Bridge is a suspension bridge in Rogaland, Norway. It was constructed in 1997. It has a main span of 446 meters and the depth of the deck is 2.7 meters. The supporting towers are 102 meters tall, and are made of reinforced concrete.

Incheon Bridge, South Korea


The Incheon Grand Bridge is a newly-constructed reinforced concrete bridge in South Korea October 2009. The Incheon Bridge is South Korea's longest spanning cable-stayed bridge. The main purpose of the bridge is to provide direct access between Songdo and Incheon International Airport, reducing travel time between them by up to one hour.

Karun-3 dam, Iran


The Karun-3 dam is a hydroelectric dam on the Karun River in the province of Khuzestan, Iran. The purpose of the dam is for power generation and flood control. The dam is a concrete double arch type, 673 ft high from the foundation and 607 ft high from the river bed. It was built to help meet Iran's energy demands as well as to provide flood control.

Aldeadávila Dam



Aldeadávila Dam is a concrete arch-gravity dam on the Douro River on the border between Spain and Portugal. The Douro River forms the international boundary between Portugal and Spain.
